Already cut and packaged, the sliced Salus bread is ready to be enjoyed at any time of the day: from breakfast to dinner, both natural and heated on the grill.
Salus Functional Bread has 7 nutritional benefits: low calorie, low fat, low carbs, rich in fibers, with oat beta-glucans*, rich in protein and low in sodium.
All the packaged breads from the “Fette di Bontà” line have an expiry date of approximately 2-3 weeks.
Salus Bread, Dark version: richer and toasted flavour, thanks to malts
Like classic Salus sliced bread, Dark Salus sliced bread also contains Beta-glucans, i.e. oat fibres whose regular consumption helps maintain normal cholesterol concentration in the blood. If consumed in the minimum quantity of 3 g per day* – through the equivalent of 150 g of Salus, Beta-glucans have the property of reducing cholesterol. Salus Dark Functional Bread stands out from the classic version thanks to the malts, which give a toasted and more appetizing taste. Enjoy it natural, stuffed or heated on the grill, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, to reach your daily dose of beta-glucans!
*Oat beta-glucan has been shown to lower/reduce blood cholesterol levels. Hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 3 g of Beta-glucans (approximately 150 g of Salus® Functional Bread) - Reg. (EC) n. 1924/2006 and Reg. (EC) n. 1160/2011.
